Third Month at RedEye
August 24th - September 24th 2019
Throughout this month I have been working on my Apprenticeship projects. The main project for this month is my first Report that I am writing about a client of mine. Emma gave me a report structure to use, which has been a great help. I just have to ensure that I link everything to the relevant criteria.
Alongside my report work, I attended my first training week at Escalla. I met some really nice people, some of which are studying Digital Marketing with me. This was my induction week, so I learnt about Health and Safety, academy standards and diversity. I also completed many ACT E-Learning tasks, which I have been able to upload to SkillSure.
Prior to attending Escalla, I had a 121 with Chris. These are usually very informal and we usually go on a walk or play a game of pool.
Also, I have been attending regular team meetings, in which we discuss what projects are in progress. These meetings are essential, as it allows everyone in the team to be up-to-date with one another.
Chris has set me some new client work, which has been really fun. I have been working on different types of email builds and Chris is always on hand to help. I have been given some good feedback from my clients and also Chris this month.
This month I was also introduced to a new client who I will be working on. This client is one of the bigger clients, so it is much more responsibility. It is nice to know that I am trusted with this and I look forward to learning new things.
This month was also difficult, as Chris was on Annual Leave for a week. This was extremely stressful for me, as I was very busy. There was also many large projects going on, and some members of the team weren't very pleasant to me. However I know things will get better once Chris is back in the office.
